How much space do I need to update this dang app? Slow as heck since the update and doesn't work right with photos or comments Finally reinstalled and still having the same problems

UPDATE: Thank you for the fabulous release notes!! All apps should provide release notes like yours. (Ok maybe they have too much tech jargon -- prob shouldn't include function names haha -- but I'll take this any day of the week over the "We made the app you love even better!" bs.) Thank you for bothering!! ....................... It's a fun social thing, love the gamification, and it's fantastic for keeping track of what I've tried/liked/disliked/etc.

I just changed phones and now I am unable to rate beers or put in my location. I am using a Motorola G4S Plus. Other than that this is a fun app to use. Now I am unable to use any of the controls. I will change this back to a 4 star once this problem has been fixed. I really liked this app up until last update. Thinking about moving to another beer app soon.

Clicking the X on an image brings you back to the main menu instead of where you were. Seems like an oversight and not how it should work. Actually in general, the going back to the page you were on instead of the main menu after doing something should be worked out. It's annoying. For instance, being in the beers section of a specific brewery then clicking on one and checking in will do that but maybe I'm trying several from them and don't want to keep searching it. Also, It'd be nice to click on a friend and have an option to see a list of beers we've both had.

To say it's usability sucked would incorrectly imply it was at all useable. It really had to take a lot of effort to make something with such potential and turn it into this complete crap.

Has become slow recently. Hard to find any Japanese venues, breweries or events. Craft beer is a growing trend in Japan, maybe try to figure out how to collaborate with Japanese resources. Otherwise great app.

I love beer, I love the idea of untappd. Sadly, the app is horrible. Slow, after scanning it gets stuck at landscape view. Manually searching for a beer works fine. Yet the search box becomes unresponsive after locking and unlocking your phone.

Still cluttered but my Galaxy S7 keeps showing it as chewing battery in the background, kind of annoying as it's the only app I have that comes in there

Seems like an interesting app, recommended by a friend, but unfortunately get an error trying to add them as a friend. Shame as it isn't as appealing without the social element.

Would be a 5 star if it would let me add a friend that I accidentally denied when they sent me a friend request. There seems to be no way around adding someone to your friends once the initial request was denied.

Bulky app, requires WiFi to run properly as it's so big. Interface is not the most intuitive. Handy if you want to track your beers.

3/29/17: Latest update improved load times. Much more usable. 2/22/17: V3 introduced seemingly longer load boot/load times. Would prefer shorter load times in lieu of fancy graphics. Otherwise I like the app at its core, tracking my beer consumption.

Overall pretty good, but wish it had some additional features like conveniently searching top-rated beers in a radius or state. Accessibility and easiness of using app could use work.

I don't see any pictures in the app - all of them are broken. Can't see even ny own check-in photos. And I also can't upload any new photos - the app just crashes((

Use the web version. The navigation in the App is NOT the smartest you can get.

It has become too much. I liked the old simple untappd, but now every time I try to use it I just get lost.

Great app to keep track of beers in this era of craft brewery explosions

Used to be a good app. They screwed it up. Used to respond when you email them but they may be tired of everyone complaining about this app. Hard to use, difficult to use, bad app. I still use it, hoping that they'll actually respond and fix it but I'm losing hope, maybe they just don't care.

Maybe I shouldn't have drank a beer but the second time I used the app I couldn't even find how to make a post. Too much crap fills the screen, bit like Facebook.

Känns som om man försöker göra en universalapp för ios och Android. Förstår inte varför. Blir bara massa problem. En widget för smidiga check ins vore nice. Hellre menu som man kan swipea in från vänster än som det är nu.

Cannot even register in the android app. Trying to set birthday but won't let me. I'm certainly not scrolling back 50 odd years 1 month at a time!!! So tried going back 18 years and 1 month. Wouldn't let me save that date either. Epic fail.

This app is back to its former glory with a lot of issues resolved in the last couple of updates. Really do love this app and am glad that its working well again. Future request would be able to scan multiple barcode to a list then determine if I have had them, as at the moment I stand in the beer store scanning barcodes, pretending to check it in to see if I have had it then, cancelling. Rinse and repeat.

To sign up for an account, you have to enter your birthday. Clicking here brings up a calendar. The only way to go back to a date in the past is to hit the arrow to the previous month. Um, I'm 50. I'm damned if I'm going to hit the arrow 600 times. Even to get to 21 years ago requires 252 hits. Not a chance.

Out of my home town for a concert, but Untappd still thinks I'm at home (300 miles away). Looks like no "Find the Source" or "Verified Venue" progress. Swarm, Foursquare, & Google Maps have no issue finding my correct location. Edit: I was able to get checked in (and much to my surprise, tag locations) by using the website while out of town,, so progress on those two badges wasn't affected. Also, it appears as though the problem was something with my cache. On my way home I stopped at another brewery, and when I had the same issue I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Locations were working properly again and, knock on wood, haven't had the same issue since. Rating updated.

Previous versions were very good, but the current release is very poorly implemented. As a software engineer myself, I'd be embarrassed to release this version. Extremely slow and crashes frequently, even on a modern smartphone with a good internet connection.
