Ratings and reviews

Remember to close your account before deleting the app. I tried this app while traveling in CA and It didn't work for me. I had no trouble getting the prepaid tolls refunded before deleting the app. Four months later I drove through a toll in TX, was unable to pay online, and never received a bill. It turns out Uproad took priority and charged my account without me knowing. They charged me a $30 late fee in addition to the tolls and would not close my account until I paid the balance.

Do not download! We used it for several months thinking our tolls would get paid through the app. The tolls would register on the app, but never get paid. After waiting several months, I contacted customer service to see if they were going to pay the bills. They responded by canceling my account. They refunded the money I had placed on my account, but now I have to figure out how to pay all those bills and suffer any potential late fees. Save yourself the headache and go with the transponder.

Doesn't save money! The app claims to save you money, but from my experience, Uproad charges a 15% fee in addition to the toll. I now have registered my car with FasTrak and get essentially the same service directly from the government for FREE! Also, it was not clear that the app had to be on whenever you were going to drive over a toll bridge.
