Don't Bother I downloaded the app and also enrolled in My Choice. I paid to use it to reschedule a delivery date to yrsterday because of a prior commitment. I stayed home all day waiting. I even sat by my front door all afternoon. At 6 pm I opened the app to get the customer service number and found an "exception" status on my delivery - "No such name or address" from around 4 pm. No alerts were sent. When I called was told package would have to be delivered today, and I can't be home. No satisfaction from UPS.
It's okay. Nice: - the "delivery planner" magically knows about everything sent via UPS to my address Annoying: - I can't figure out how to remove an old address - "you have a delivery tomorrow" notifications come just after midnight *two* nights before delivery. It's /technically/ true, but c'mon.
Worthless Downloaded app to manage shipments - what was I thinking? Created labels (glitchy, user interface poor for company that size), never received a receipt showing what I paid (even after dropping pkgs off for shipment), tracking (doesn't list the two tracking numbers I just entered and nicknamed in Recently Tracked). Typical UPS - poor service. "We manage your shipments," "We offer an app" - No. You really don't.
Worse than worthless. If you try to use it to make alternate arrangements for package delivery, it will delay the package delivery by one or more days. If you enter an alternate address for delivery, it places the comment "Leave with neighbor", and tells you AFTER you have made the entries that the new address has to be within walking distance (never mentioned on the page where you can enter an alternate address). Then, they ignore what you entered, try to deliver it to the address where you won't be, and tell you that the package is further delayed. You are better off with the UPS 800 number, using this app simply delays everything. FEDEX manages to make it simple, get it right, and smiles.
INCOMPETENT service. Not the app but the actual UPS service. I'm supposed to receive a VERY important document yesterday through UPS EXPRESS which guarantees 1-3 days delivery. Guess what? It got delayed by 2 DAYS and will not arrive until tomorrow. That's almost twice the time. And those were VERY important papers that I need to present to the government. To add to that, your customer service sucks big time like he doesn't know what he is talking about. His responses contradicts to that with the web tracking information. Unbelievable.
Glitchy Works, but won't recognize some of my info when I try to update my new address. When asked for a verification code it says my phone number isn't what is on file. There has only ever been 1 number & when I checked it online it IS correct. Had to uninstall & reinstall the app before it would recognize the change of address. But still can't add my husband's name.
