Cannot even do a thing on this app. Very useless. Connection error all the time. Same issue with mobile website and even desktop version on mobile. Is there not one freelancer on your platform that can fix all these issues?
The app is less than useless. You can't edit your profile unless you go to the website and you have to put your browser on desktop mode to even find the link you need. The help desk sends you the exact same automated response every time you reply to their email. In short: don't use this service.
Useless... messages are marked as unread even those had been read weeks ago. If you try to view a new message in the website from your mobile browser it will open this evil app where lots of old messages are marked as unread and you have to find the real new message. If the developers don't have the guts to make this work why don't you post a job in the Upwork? You guys can put 20% tax on Freelancers' income but don't have any wish to give them a useful app!!
On Android I've had many problems. First, the notifications are always wrong in terms of how many messages you have. Can't open JPG images. Many times it cannot connect, even on reliable wifi connection. Can only handle messages, not actual contract management. Overall disappointing but still useful I guess.
This application does not have 1 /10 of the needed functionality.
My advice to Upwork is to revise your copy on the app listing. This app ONLY helps the freelancer, not the hiring person. It has zero benefit if you want to manage your jobs and view timesheets from your freelancers. Something we should easily be able to do.
