Review from Ed Romo
Could be a great app, but overpriced at $2.99 without being able to try the full version. I do really like the music part! Way better than Hue Pro's but then you can create, add, and import export what you create with pro. Needs more even at $3.
Does some things very well, but it is currently lacking the polished touch it would need to be the premier lighting app that it could be. Being able to change the settings more easily and intuitively (rather than going to the settings menu and restarting the demonstration everytime) would be a great step forward. Also, the party lights feature is a great idea, but the lighting doesn't seem to match the music as well as it could. Being able to switch between microphone and phone music easier would be nice. I have high hopes this will be a 5 star app soon!
Very cool. Looks almost like when I ran lights on my light guitar/keyboard back in '78. Excellent complementary color mix profiles. Only issue is the dead spots that happen ocassionally. Like the algorithm gets overloaded or behind.
I have his lights over a reptile terrum. I like the similated thunderstorm and jungle theme to really give the terrium atmosphere. Lighting systems that simulate thunder and lightning effects for reptile tanks run $500 Or more.
This would be a 4 star rating if it weren't for the fact that the upgrade is hardly any different than the original and theres no way to refund it. Upgrade is definitely not worth the cost.
I'd give it 5 stars but it just bugs me that you can't use your camera while using this app. I'd love to show it off to people but it won't let me use record at all
