Accessibility Service

The app features a series of alarm tasks called CAPCTHA which make sure you do not oversleep. Completing tasks like sheep counting, math equations or scanning a bar-code on your toothpaste will make sure you are fully awake and ready for your morning.

To make sure you won\'t sleep through your duties the app may use an Accessibility Service to prevent you from force stopping the app or turning off the device (cheating) before completing the alarm tasks (CAPTCHA). No private information are collected.

Device Admin

This app may use the Device Administrator permission.
The reason is effective CAPTCHA (a feature to make sure you wake up in the morning) so you cannot avoid alarms by uninstalling the app during an alarm.

Health disclaimer

Sleep as Android is not intended for medical use, but instead to improve general fitness and well-being especially in terms of better sleep. Any oxygen saturation tracking is performed with compatible oximeter devices such as the TicWatch 3 Pro, BerryMed oximeters... more at https://docs.sleep.urbandroid.org/devices/wearables.html

It's hard because when the app works it's wonderful. But for some reason, today my alarms didn't go off. And I didn't do anything different! I hate when the trust gets broken because how do I know it won't happen again tomorrow?? 😪 Edit: I've made sure every permission, and 'deep sleep' settings are correct. STILL randomly goes off hours after alarm, or not at all. It doesn't say 'missed alarm' so who knows if it even went off.

Hello Krystal, is it possible you enabled POWER NAP smart period for the alarm as your waking up method? This is a special method that goes off up to one hour after alarm time. Check your smart period set up in Settings → Alarms, and also in per-alarm settings for each alarm.

I'm pretty sure this is the perfect alarm clock app. If you just want to set a basic alarm quickly and forget about it, this app is perfect for you. You can hit shortcuts to create an alarm for a specific time from now, or certain times like sunrise. If you like to dig into settings and tweak it to do exactly what you want, you can do that, too. It's almost infinitely customizable and it can do things I don't think I've seen on any other alarm clock apps. Too many to list. It's great!

I'm really glad that it can't be cheated but if you want to be woken up gently do NOT turn on "gentle wakeup." It starts silent and then switches to max volume regardless of what your volume is set to and you can't turn it down. Being shocked awake by 100db blaring isn't very "gentle" to me and it's not good for my partner either. EDIT: I had it set to 1 minute which is what I use with other alarms to gradually increase to my set volume. The problem is on this app it goes to MAX volume instead.

Hello Elliott, which period is set to one minute - delay, time-out, or volume increase? Are you using a built-in ringtone, or some service like radio or Spotify (which may take some time to launch, if connectivity is slower)? Please, use the Left ≡ menu → (?) Support → Report a bug, we are not able to solve this directly via a reply here. Thanks
