Accessibility Service

The app features a series of alarm tasks called CAPCTHA which make sure you do not oversleep. Completing tasks like sheep counting, math equations or scanning a bar-code on your toothpaste will make sure you are fully awake and ready for your morning.

To make sure you won\'t sleep through your duties the app may use an Accessibility Service to prevent you from force stopping the app or turning off the device (cheating) before completing the alarm tasks (CAPTCHA). No private information are collected.

Device Admin

This app may use the Device Administrator permission.
The reason is effective CAPTCHA (a feature to make sure you wake up in the morning) so you cannot avoid alarms by uninstalling the app during an alarm.

Health disclaimer

Sleep as Android is not intended for medical use, but instead to improve general fitness and well-being especially in terms of better sleep. Any oxygen saturation tracking is performed with compatible oximeter devices such as the TicWatch 3 Pro, BerryMed oximeters... more at

This app was great and 5 stars until this recent update. How do we go back to the previous version? The new update is not good. Font is too big. Not enough info can fit on one screen. Landscape mode is useless now. Previously, the current day's graphs (or any day) could all fit on one landscape page without toggling between graphs, as it does in portrait mode. Please change back to a usable landscape view. Data is too narrow to use in portrait view. Please allow for font size reduction.

Hello G, could you please give us some more details? Ideally, send us your screenshots at We do not have nay issues with fonts or landscape more reported. Font size is taken from the system, are you using altered DPI? Thank you.

Great app, but has some quirks. For some reason I frequently have to dismiss an alarm twice. If I wake up before the alarm triggers, usually withing 15-30 min before the alarm, I can dismiss the alarm but then I have to dismiss it again when the alarm triggers at the set time. Why do I have to do this twice? If I dismiss an alarm early, it should automatically skip to the next day. Annoying to have to go through my captchas twice. Been like this for a very long time, please fix!

Hello Jason, could you please first of all make sure the app is excluded from all system restrictions (, and then reproduce the event and send us the application logs (Left ≡ menu →(?) Support → Report a bug)? Thank you.

App updated and reset a Stop Oversleeping setting to default that I must have changed two years ago. Could not for the life of me figure out why my alarm started acting differently every morning. As it turns out, the setting isn't located in the NFC settings for the alarm but is in the CAPTCHA settings under the Main settings. Developer responded quickly and, after submitting a bug report, had an answer for me the next day. Highly customizable, but there is a learning curve.

Hello Matt, is Alarm volume in Captcha option set to "alarm is silent"? Is it possible the backup alarm is in progress? We do not have anything similar reported, could you please reproduce one alarm and send your application logs by using the Left ≡ menu → (?) Support → Report a bug? Thank you.
