American Family Radio is a listener supported broadcast ministry of the American Family Association. AFR exists to be a voice for AFA to help motivate and equip individuals to restore American culture to its moral foundations. AFR does this in a variety of ways with both its music/teaching format as well as its Christian Conservative Talk format. AFR is not xenophobic as we are a platform for other ministry partners such as James Dobson's Family Talk, Tony Perkins and Washington Watch or David Jeremiah's Turning Point.
AFR understands that politics and polices alone will not change America. It will take an intervention of Christ and our hearts turned back to Him. AFR hopes to educate our listeners with news and issues of the day but more importantly convey the Truth of Christ through clear presentations of the Gospel.

THE STAND represents a compilation of voices and strategies linked together for the purpose of defending religious freedom, promoting Christian values, and exposing attacks on the American family. THE STAND is a wall of defense, a champion of freedom, and a beacon of light to those in danger.
The guide was developed from a group of panelists selected for their conservative credentials and belief in constitutional government, free enterprise, strong national defense, and traditional Judeo-Christian values, such as the sanctity of life and marriage. After evaluating the data, panelists assigned a grade indicating what kind of voting record that candidate, if elected, would likely receive from a multi-issue conservative organization that grades on economic and social issues. The source data is provided so voters can more easily make their own evaluation.
AFA Action’s unique voter guide has several distinctions and features:
· Economic/social conservative grades (A to F) or a voter’s specific candidates
· Vote ratings of federal legislators from conservative and liberal organizations
· Donations of significance made by the candidates and to the candidates
· Endorsements of candidates by conservative and liberal organizations
· Surveys of candidates on issues, role of government, background and beliefs
