Worts application I have ever used. Spend an hour on the phone with the support tech and could not get connected. They open a ticket. If this is just to get the application connected to the car, i do not want to even think about functionality. And on top, after a year, they want to charge for it. Lexus, you are a luxury car company and competition is going to kill you if you continue to provide such a lousy service. Technology is going to be the name of the game. Tesla and others are going to eat your lunch.
What happened to this company? This is just an awful experience. What had been a mediocre feature at best has now become unworkable. I submitted my frustration to the customer service email address days ago and have not heard a peep out of them in response. I am still in the trial period of the Enform remote feature and just got the reminder email on how much a subscription will be and that's it going up in price. Really? This feature has not even proven to have an marginal value in the trial phase. Why would even trust them with my credit card data when they seem overwhelmed already.
Update 4: Going on second week without Lexus being able to fix. Fortunately I stopped by the Grapevine, TX dealership for a car wash. I explained my issue to the Lexus Technology Specialist (LTS) Ashley and Vaness and they went to work on it. Within a few minutes they got it working. AWESOME job team! Apparently they had to unlink my VIN from my account and relink it. Something they can't do at Lexus, only the dealership can do. It's unbelievable that Lexus can't figure this out and relay to the customer. ............................................................... Update 3: latest app update has apparently broken the whole service. Had to start over and re-register. Need to re-add my vehicle, but It will not do that. Been communicating with Lexus and that can't fix it. One of the tech reps (Brian) had been very helpful but it's out of his hands and had to submit a support ticket. This is a SiriusXM service and Lexus needs to drop them ASAP. BTW, BMWs service actually works, and it's free for the whole warranty period. Just saying. Lexus, just give me Android auto! ............................................................... Update 2: Is now not only inconvenient, but causing frustration and taking away from the enjoyment of the car. Lexus expects people to pay for this after 1 year?? It's free right now and not even worth the aggravation. Other manufactures give you systems that actually work for free for significantly longer. I'm giving it 2 stars because I can sometimes gets it to work. ............................................................... Update: it's been very inconsistent lately, working maybe half the time. Took two stars off because when we've really wanted it to work (we've had some really cold weather recently) it hasn't. Kind of defeats the purpose. Works great, does what it's supposed to. Sometimes there is a delay, but considering all the relays, it's pretty fast most of the time. It's a shame it's only free for one year when all is competitors give you more.
What happen to the 4 digit PIN? Takes too long to go through the sign in
