Spent a week on the phone with Lexus to get it to work and after 4 weeks have yet to be able to consistently start or unlock my car using the app. Not sure if it's the carrier they us causing coverage issues or the poor app. Either way definitely won't be paying for this service after trial runs out. Going to get a drone mobile system like my other vehicle.
About the WORST thing I have ever had to deal with. After many days on the phone with Lexus, it still would not remote start the car. Kept saying my battery was too low, but I just had everything checked out at the dealer and there was no battery issue. I cannot believe that Lexus would allow this app to continue in the market as it frustrates customers.
Still doesn't work right with T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S7. As an example: if I start my car using the app and I go to a different screen on my phone (to check email, text, etc.), when I return to the app it doesn't recognize that I have started my car. I can not turn off the car off I decided I couldn't leave the office except to walk down to my car and stop it by unlocking it with the key fob. Sorry, but this is unacceptable. Latest update has been an improvement. I can actually use it and it works most of the time. I like the addition of the finger print login. Still buggy like when I check the status it doesn't give me the current status until I click the refresh icon. That messed me up when I thought I had enough gas to get to work but I didn't. My 1 year trial is up in a few months. Surely Lexus will extend it since it hasn't worked most of the time since I bought the car.
Have to enter my PIN 4 times just to see the status of my vehicle. The buttons it provides for the PIN are so short, it's easy to mistype, thus requiring more typing of the PIN. Tells me I need WiFi enabled when it's already enabled. Whoever wrote this is without a bit of doubt a total amateur who should seriously consider a different line of work, because this is obviously not for them. If their management want me to purchase Enform one the trial is over, they should hire real developers ASAP!
I see most people actually got the app to work. IO have an Samsung Galaxy 7 and never got it to work. For as much as these cars cost, you would think the technology would be much better, the tech in the car isn't all that great either, the voice control anyway. I mine as well be speaking sign language.
When it works it is fine. A major problem is that you are not able to communicate with your vehicle after a week. This is an issue if you are away for over a week and want to check on the vehicle.
Thank you for using Lexus Enform Remote! This update includes the following improvements:
• New ‘About’, ‘Feedback’, and ‘Contact Us’ options in the Settings menu.
