Not up to Lexus standard The intention of the app is great only if they can find a way to make it respond faster and work 100% of the time. The engine start function works on average 5 out of 10 tries. All funtions take about 50 seconds to 80 seconds to tell me if it worked or didn't work. This is taking way longer than mercedes and bmw engine start apps and definitely lower success rate.
Not pleased at all! I just bought RX F Sport. This app works 50/50%. Not solid at all. Somehow it starts car but message will return that it failed to start. My Ford Fusion Energi app "MyFordMobile" works 100% and it's free for life!!! This Lexus app after one year will cost me $250. What a joke.
Not what I expected Nothing, but aggravation for two days since I have installed this app. Could successfully start the car only once. On the next day, several attempts to start the engine failed with a message "we are unable to process your Remote Engine Start request". Waited some time, then tried again with same failure messages. But this time, when I approached the car, the engine was running. Very unreliable application. Wondering how does Lexus expect customers to pay $$$ for renewal.
A turtle would be a faster way to send The idea is great but it's so slow to respond to commands. To remotely start you vehicle it goes through a lot of steps then by the time it finally tells you it's been excepted you could have walked out and started it yourself then went back to what you were doing. It would be quicker. Very disappointing for the name Lexus.
It took a week to get the mobile app to work. Having to enter the pass code so many times reminds me of having to stoke a furnace back many years ago. The software is poor, the technology behind it totally lacking. When the new car subscription ends that is it. Unless they upgrade this dinosaur I am done with it. This is the best Lexus can do? I have a suggestion, hire better techs and fire the ones you have now.
Don't even bother installing it NEVER WORKED. 4 customer service phone calls and a three-day attempt by IT to get this thing running and nothing. Still pending status for 3 weeks! totally sucks! Cars half the price have this capability and it works without problem. What the hell is wrong with Lexus that they can't get it together?
