USAA is an organization founded by military members for military members. We understand the unique needs of service members, veterans and their families.

The USAA Mobile App gives you convenient and secure account access from your mobile device. You can manage your finances, insurance and more. With just a few taps, you can do things like transfer money, pay bills and deposit checks.

USAA Mobile App features include:

-Banking: Pay bills, send money with Zelle®, deposit checks, transfer funds and locate an ATM.

-Insurance: Get an auto ID card, request roadside assistance and report a claim.

-Security: Use a PIN or device biometrics to securely log on to the app.

-Search: Find what you need with smart search and chat.

-Widgets: View your balance and transaction history on your home screen using widgets.

Credit cards are issued by USAA Savings Bank and serviced by USAA Federal Savings Bank. Other bank products are provided by USAA Federal Savings Bank. Both banks are Member FDIC.

 

Ratings and reviews

8 times out of 10 when I try to make a credit card payment, it will inexplicably error out. Once I back up to the previous screen and try again, it always works. SO ANNOYING. This has happened across tons of updates to the app, across 2 phones (Galaxy S21 FE, Pixel 8), any network, and after clearing data/cache and reinstalling the app. So... clearly not a me problem. Have sent feedback a few times and it is never fixed. Good app otherwise.

Latest update seems to have made things worse. Either it lags when I try to log in and won't actually let me log in or it tells me there is a technical difficulty and won't show any of my information. I don't have a physical usaa bank around me to go to and the website now won't work. I've been considering switching banks and I think it's time I do. The app use to be great and I understand little things here and there but this is happening more frequently.

What happened USAA? The app or something at HQ is hot garbage lately. Balance bounces around high low high in a 24hr period. Does basic math require the latest super phone? The app is the primary conduit between a person and their finances. It's not acceptable to have such poor functionality. I don't need it to categorize spending. Just do basic math. Plus, minus and balance. Absurd.
