I think this app and Aetna's lack of response to feedback is pretty indicative of the over all screw you attitude of this company and pretty much all health insurance that we are forced to have now. I think it is hilarious that they state that they are working to improve the app and quickly make changes that users want. People have been complaining about the fingerprint hangup and lag for months, and still no fix.
Not great but definitely an improvement. At least it works now. Really slow but functional. Would like to see fingerprint authentication restored, seems to have been removed this update. On the right track, hopefully it will get better in time.
The app is worthless. I downloaded it because I wasn't sent an insurance card and was told all I needed was to pull it up on the app. Nobody accepts it. Everywhere I've gone requires a physical card. Don't waste your time with the app. If you're going to use it to look at claims it would probably be quicker to wait till you get home and log onto their website on your computer. The app is slow, buggy, and has no useful functionality. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Totally not ready. So the fingerprint set-up just goes into a 'processing' loop that never clears and so does not work. On top of that, I tried to use the Contact Us feature within the app and in the areas where you need to provide input, you cannot add characters/no keyboard. Same in the email address field. I did log in with credentials and was only disappointed (so far) there, where the scrolling is EXTREMELY touchy and will make selections when only trying to scroll...and I am very used to other scrolling in other apps that I do not have this issue.
The app lags a lot and just responds very oddly. A lot of functionality is missing. Just viewing the claim on app does not provide much info other than what might be payable, what about if it is already paid or not and what about the details of that bill. Still needs a lot of work to be standalone app for now. Edit after update.: lowered my rating to 2 stars. Ever worst performance than before. Shows I have bunch of msgs but won't let me see any of them. Have a lot of claims but can't see them without app freezing.
Still horrible. Nothing works and hasn't for months since I last tried to use it. Completely usless. I can't even scroll down to pick a pharmacy to look up a drug cost. Oh update.... Still doesn't work!!! Unbelievable!
