This used to be my go-to app for news until they chose to be so ridiculously biased against Trump and his administration. Now every time I open the app it's nothing but anti-Trump editorials and opinion pieces. Stop trying to taint the news and just report it WITHOUT THE BIAS!! (I do still like your "Tech" section, though.)
I love that I can read about nearly every conceivable thing on this app. A few of the contributing articles and some from staff a bit too liberal for me but if I wait long enough, someone comes along more to my liking. Not always on the same subject matter, but tempered more to my way of thinking. Thanks
I can't figure out how to make the breaking news show up first instead of opinions. This paper's opinions are so left wing I almost can't stand it. I keep it because when I was in boot camp in 1984 that was the only paper the drill sergeants let us see.
Total crap-app. Couldn't make it througj an article without it locking-up or "not responding". You would think Gannett would have a better developers. Also, bloated with advertising to the point of not being able to load a page. Is there a negative 5-star? The app continually "Stops Responding". Also content is minimal. Really a intro page to the USA Today website. May as well go to the AP site..... Faster and no crashes.
For several years, I had been completely loyal to USA Today since the days of actual newspapers during my travels as well as the original app used for a much older smartphone. However, with the new design application, there has been occasional closures, and before sending an article; the beginning of an article is now posted below the given link. Have we become a society lazy enough where we must have the article links and the beginnings of articles below together? What is the point having both? Plus, several of your articles on here do need editing with basic grammar syntax, spelling, and/or occasional written format before the articles are posted like any newspaper had done before smartphones. If I am not the only one who notice these basic things, where is the professionalism that USA Today was once known for years ago?
Very good updates. The app is stable and user friendly. On a side note, pay no attention to the trolls complaining of "Liberal bias." USA Today has never endorsed any candidate for President and they always have editorials from BOTH sides of the political spectrum.
