Very helpful. Earlier today I had a pretty intense panic attack & usually I just do deep breathing exercises but this time it wasn't helping. So I sat back, launched the app & gave it a shot. It seems the Picture Peace exercise worked best for me. I combined that with deep breathing & it really did help. After a bit of time I found myself completely calm & relaxed. There's a lot to the app & lots of info. I think SAM could help if you're willing to try. I've not had issues with the app & it's also pretty easy to use.
Good. Very good app has helped me already and have only had it for a day! Only problem is that on the chat boards there are no professionals to answer any questions just people trying to help people with their own stories/problems. Which don't get me wrong is reassuring In itself but I would prefer to have a few doctors/psychiatrists on there who are answering people's questions. Please look into this as this step would make this a five star app !! Thank you!
Gr8 Concept but... It seems that all the "exercises" are just instructions of tasks to do outside the app. I'd like a more workbook style app than descriptions of exercises to do with paper/pen. Sometimes I'll want to work on anxiety in a setting where a pen/paper are unavailable. Meditations are well put together. I'd add two more stars if the toolkit was more interactive. I'm kinisthetic which is why I looked for an app to begin with, so it's a dealbreaker for me.
This app has helped save me in so many situations. I mainly only use the 'picture peace' feature which helps to calm me and distract me while I'm having a panic attack. I'd love some more pictures on it or a feature to delete some that are less calming when I look at them - such as the cookie and the sunset. But regardless, thank you for making this app. I recommend it to anyone.
FANTASTIC!! Can't rate it high enough!! Brilliant for kids and adults alike! I've had anxiety and depression for years and never found anything as convenient, helpful, insightful and practical in one tool!! I have recommended it to everyone!! It has practical tips and things to help you get through a panic attack, you can monitor your anxiety and really learn about your condition and get no nonsense advise on how to tackle it. Their honest throughout and say it's a long process but this app gives you the skill in order to help yourself!! Thankyou
Very handy I've used the breathing timer many times, especially before job interviews and the like. I've also used the image reveal to calm myself down when I'm feeling down or anxious. The other functions I've used only a few times, but even just for those two, this app is very worthwhile. It can track your anxiety, too, if you need to find patterns.
