Fooled by custom ROMs? Both my Nexus 6 and OnePlus 3 are identified as fakes by this. I highly doubt that's the case though, since both are bought from one of the the largest carriers in Finland (Elisa). Both have custom ROMs installed, so I wonder if that causes false positives.
Expected better from antutu this app is a complete waste of time it keeps throwing you back to a web browser no real need for the app to be installed at all. Then it tells you that a custom rom or new device may give you a false positive so completely unreliable results anyway. Immediately uninstalled
Scam App? Claimed my Samsung S7 to be a high end fake? Or is this just another Chinese scam to harvest our data... phone number... email.... contacts eta.. . Why else would it mud diagnose my phone but ask for access to everything yet fail to run the benchmark.
Joke Phone ordered directly from Google and get an unknown response from your website? Piss off. Not that these reviews matter as it is painfully obvious that whoever wrote your app description just ran their Chinese chicken scratch through Google translate prior to submitting it to the Play Store.
Samsung S8+ SM-G955F bought directly from Samsung stated as "Unknown". Come on is months now that are out there and is one of the best Android phone currently available. How can this App be so lame?
I bought a Galaxy S7 Edge from Samsung themselves, and it was identified as a fake. Take this test with a grain of salt. It's probable that they're identified as "fake" because Samsung use different model names based of where you live, so Asia will have a different model number than Europe and the US. And if you run a different screen resolution it will tell you it's fake as well. Change back to the original resolution of your phone and it will say it's real. So if it says your Galaxy device is fake, don't worry.
