I have a bow arrow and arm glued to my nose and have to aid with my head instead of my controller. Graphics aren't that good compared to other mobile vr games(Not Oculus and vive games. Obviously my phone doesn't match a $1,000. gaming rig and can't handle that. Lol.)
Please for the love of God at least make the shooting button different from the movement. I kept moving backwards because I had to hold in to draw the bowstring back. Or make it so you don't walk around while aiming. Missed so many times because of this painfully simple fix. Also need a way to un-nock an arrow. I like having high accuracy. It's good, but these things annoyed me very quickly
Ended at stage 15? Very fun game, great use of the daydream controller and easy to learn. However I seem to keep running into a bug where I can't play past stage 15, and the game jumps to the credits. Is there anyway to fix this problem? EDIT: Problem was fixed with an update!
Super update Update has made this game much better on my pixel phone. Can now see enemies at distance and when flung skyward. How about introducing wind variation as a 'tricky' mode? Problem at level 14. All enemies gone but shield shows one left, that never appears. Phoey! Tried uninstalling and reinstalling to gain fresh targets, but they are all at the level before re install.
Great little game At first I was getting hung up on the double-tap because I'm using a Cardboard headset and second phone as a controller emulator while I wait for my Daydream headset, and each tap needs to be a double tap (so 4 in rapid succession for a double-tap) when using the controller emulator.
I really enjoyed this game - hopefully it will be extended! It would be great to see an option to decrease the targeting / aiming curve so it is a bit short of showing you exactly where the arrow will hit as a way of making it more challenging. A couple of small issues I did find is that sometimes there is a lag between releasing an arrow and it actually being released and secondly it can be challenging to change arrow types by double clicking.
Release 1.2 Integrates new Unity Daydream build resulting in better framerate. Fixes serious issue with game progression keeping players from Canyon 01 and Canyon 04. AEB is 28 levels and many players were only seeing 15. Restart the game from a new Save target as part of the bug was a corruption of the Save Game feature. Fixes Back/X close issue.
