Uninstalling Couldn't create account on Android smartphone - extremely poor UI. Got email saying I could change number but instructions didn't work on smartphone, PC or web. Rubbish.
Great alternative I have terrible reception at my house and using Whistle over WiFi is a great alternative to going outside for sure. Whistle to Whistle HD calls are clearer than any calls I have made over my carrier. Definitely recommended!
It works okay. . . The call quality is decent. The interface is simple. And that's fime, but sometimes when I have a call, the screen completely goes black and I can hear them but its hard to return to the call page.
Calls *always* go through. No muss, no fuss, and sound great over both Wifi and "4G" (whatever 4G service actually is on T-Mobile)
Use magic jack Use magic jack app. Only 20 a year. No other cost!!!!. I think its free if you dont need a number. I have been using it for over 2 years
From Free Calling to Skype Like Pay Service What use to be a great free (ad-supported) service for calling within the USA is now a Skype like service that is only slightly less expensive than the comparable Skype pay as you go rates provided you're calling within the continental United States. If you're calling Alaska, Hawaii, or other countries, I've found that you'll typically pay more than Skype. For light usage for calling within the continental USA (or calling other Whistle users for free), it might be worth a go.
