Just Be is a simple, fun “mindfulness reminder” application that helps you return to the present moment.
Just define your favorite mindfulness reminders, then set the frequency of the reminders, and Just Be will send you notifications on that schedule.
Beyond this basic functionality, Just Be also lets you add your own images to the application, and those images will be randomly shown in the background, behind your reminders. We find that seeing our favorite images along with our favorite mindfulness quotes has a very soothing effect.
With Just Be you can also “pin” a reminder. Pinning a reminder tells Just Be to keep sending you the same mindfulness reminder, which is nice for those times when you want to keep seeing the same message again and again. For instance, on work days you might want a reminder like, “Remember to respond mindfully,” and on days off you might want a reminder like, “Come back to your breath.” The ability to pin a quote lets you do just that.
