Spare time When I'm not beating my wife and kids heads in, Steam is a good distraction. It doesn't always work right, has dozens of things it could do better, and has to always load the store screen twice on PC and mobile. Why? It didn't used to be such ass. Plus they are trying to push the app by forcing a 15-day card sales wait time without it. Steam's way of trying to force Mobile onto ppl.
Where the hell is the material design?! 😠 There is almost no material design present in the entire app. And if there is, it's usually buggy or bad animations. Give this app an overhaul with material design and animations everywhere. The app needs to be more consistent. Also, I can't change my avatar either, the “choose file" button is broken. Please developers, this app has over 10 million downloads on the Play Store alone. Do the users some justice and make a better looking and bug free app.
Good, but listen before you download... Not really excelent, but good enough to earn 5/5. The (+) : It's as useful and handy as the PC version, you can check the store, the community and charge your steamwallet and stuff. The (-) : The UI is a little rough, not 100% user friendly, not 100% mobile friendly. It's simply a pasted website window with mobile compatibility. Still need its own much simpler UI
STOP REFRESHING THE DAMN APP WHEN I TRY TO RECOVER MY ACCOUNT!!! At the bare minimum, have an option to send a damn recovery link to my email. I'd think you weren't so stupid as to think that this BS is actually preventing any hacks, but then I'd also think that you weren't so stupid as to make spending money on your service like pulling teeth.
Only gave four stars because for me if I'm chatting with someone their message doesn't appear right away. Long after the "..." disappear there will be no message so I have to back out to the friends list and then go back into the chat and the messages will be there. Idk if it's just me but a fix on this would be nice! : )
Does what it needs to do. Having this app is pretty nice overall. I don't use it all that much, but I've had an overall good experience. I really like this 2fa instead of the old email one. I mostly use this app to buy stuff during the sales (especially the winter one when I'm typically around family) when I'm can't get to my pc. I also use it to just check real quick if any of my good friends are currently on and if they want to play without having to actually go to my pc, turn it on, and load steam. Overall, pretty good
