SFS High School, Telam, a premier English Medium School in the small hamlet of Telam was established on 28 August 1982 with 12 students. For the past 38 years it has grown with small steps but in greater strides. Fr Mathew Puthumana msfs, pioneered the wave of education in this remote thicket and is now hitting shores ever powerfully yet gently. It was raised to the status of a high school in the year 2002 with the bold step of Fr Tommichan Moonnanappallil and in 2005 the first batch of Class X students passed out of SFS School, Telam. From the miniature number of 12, the school now caters to the needs of 800 students.
