As of today (Feb 11 2017) the Google Play page for the app warns that it doesn't support Android 7 (nougat), but I have it running beautifully (with a borescope) on my (rooted) Nexus 6 running 7.1.1. Plug in the scope - CameraFi starts automatically - and in a couple of seconds, the camera image shows on my phone. Fantastic.
Works good for me. Adds are annoying like always. Too expensive to remove though (any other app offer cheaper way to remove them). Is it possible to make other program use the webcam over the phone camera? For example for Instagram live video. How to set it up so it uses the external webcam over the phone camera? I need it very bad since Windows 10 doe snot support Instagram live yet. Thank you for your answer.
App works fine for me, Samsung S7. Very easy, just plug and play. Ads are just at the main screen, no trouble while operating camera. I think the watermark removal is too pricy.. Worth $2.99 not $10.99
finally got it to install, it immediately demands I install another app to 'clean ' my phone. There is nothing wrong with my phone. it will not allow me to utilize memory the way I want it to. I am going to try this on a tablet, maybe that will be better. so far, it is worthless and does not work.
Don't bother using this. This was a great application until the last update when the author decided to monetize via ads, and now it's junk, and the ads get in the way of actual image! Bad move!
Used to be 5 star material. Now adds get in the way of the display and the cost to remove them, in my view, is too much for my usage. Would not recommend.
- Fixed some bugs.
