Vaya is a ride-hailing app for safe and secure rides and package delivery, available at the push of a button. Taking away the tedious work of travelling to go deliver your package or waiting street-side to hail a cab. With easy payment methods like cash, Ecocash, Visa and MasterCard, we’ve got you covered.
Vaya will be available in Harare then Bulawayo. Our goal is to grow into all of Africa’s cities. All you need to do is download the app and your wonderful experience with us begins.
Getting a Vaya car is this easy:

√ Open the app and tell us what you want to do; do you need a Ride or to get a package delivered.

√ Tell us where you are going or where you need your package to go.

√ The app uses location services so the drivers will know where to come.

√ You’ll be able to see your driver’s information; picture, vehicles details and you can track the driver’s arrival on the map.

√ Payment is easy. You can use cash, Ecocash, Visa and MasterCard.

√ You can rate your driver at the end of your trip. You will receive a receipt for the trip via email or SMS

I have just downloaded the app but I'm not impressed with the charges. Maybe it is because there is no competition. I know comparisons are odious but having used Uber, Bold and InDrive in SA your charges are too high. I tried Glen View 1 to Highglen Shopping Centre and I must stress US$4,74 (R81) is a no no. Same distance Down South is around US$2,35 (R40). I just hope some Mushikashika guys become more organised and work with some startups & take over. Otherwise you are killed a good initiative

The app takes a really long time to request a trip even when a driver is in the area. On some occasions the app ends up double booking drivers or there's no notification on either end that a request has been received. There also issues of overcharging and problems with starting and closing trips. You need to get it together

The app has a tendency of crashing and not working properly or as it should. I've been having trouble with selecting the destination to be dropped off at. Quite annoying to say the least. But on the other hand, their drivers are usually well behaved and respectful which is a great relief.
