Ratings and reviews

It's a fine app. I've been using it for years. But it REALLY sucks when I'm in the middle of animating and getting a 30-second unskippable ad out of nowhere. It severely disrupts the flow of work and kills a lot of momentum. Aside from that, there are some paywalls that I think are really unessesary, like the onion skins being limited. That's really essential to the animation process, and I think it limits the work potential.

I really, really REALLY just love this app and I enjoy using it. It is simple and really fun. There is only one simple problem... ADS! Every time I leave a project an ad will come up and I can't skip it and the (X) button doesn't work. Overall, an amazing animation app, but with a bit of aggravating ads. I think if you have the premium you can dodge them. I recommend it if your interested in animation. (The developer said to get the premium but I'm like 14 lol. 🤣) As if I have money for that...

FlipaClip is my favorite mobile animation software. I began animating on FlipNote, and FlipaClip's user interface has just the right amount of familiarity and function. I purchased the premium years ago and haven't regretted it once. I only wish that the tools provided were more fleshed out; the inability to edit selections and the clumsy color interface are annoying. As someone who purchased premium before it became a subscription, however, I think the monthly model is a terrible idea.
