Ratings and reviews

This has to be the worst app ever! First, it's way too hard to navigate and find what you're looking for. Second, you have to jump through a million hurdles to be able to add money which also leads to the third which is the entire time I've had an account, I've been unable to add cash to it. I've tried linking credit/debit cards and bank accounts and still won't let me verify them. I even put the correct verify amounts in and still get error messages. Uninstalling and never going back!

The app is super buggy, at least on Android. Literally every time I open it, the entire app completely freezes after my first click and I have to close and open it back up to get it to do anything. That's not even mentioning the amount of times it actually goes down, and not just for a few minutes either, it's several hours at a time. Venmo never even addresses the issue, it's like it's normal to have your finance app go down. Some people rely on this app to pay their bills, that's unacceptable.

Mostly good, a couple tweaks needed. The search function is kind of clunky, and doesn't work that well. Unless you know exactly the person's username, it's almost impossible to find someone to add. They recently changed the payment request such that you're always included as part of the group payment, which is completely unnecessary, and you now have to enter the group total in addition to just the individual amounts, which is also stupid. No making a request needs these.
