About this app

Accept no substitute. MediaMonkey is the music manager for serious collectors.

MediaMonkey Pro unlocks the following extras:
• Wi-Fi Sync: wirelessly sync your device's library (incl. ratings, play history, volume levels, etc.) with your Windows PC
• UPnP/DLNA: play / download content from UPnP/DLNA servers
• Folder browsing: navigate your library using the device's physical file hierarchy
• Configurable home screen: customize what content appears on the home screen
And more...

MediaMonkey Pro acts as a license to unlock these features in the free MediaMonkey app, and removes the 15-day trial limit for individual builds of MediaMonkey Beta. You will need to install MediaMonkey or MediaMonkey Beta first.

I've always had some sort of issue like losing my ratings for my tracks and now a cracking sound during playback on Bluetooth devices while nothing else does that. It's overall good, but there are some hiccups for sure. **Reply to developer: I synced the files from my PC to my Android first, then go through the tracks and rate them as I listen to them, then try to transfer the ratings to the PC from my Android. I'm probably doing something wrong but I can't tell what.

Could it be that you edited tracks in both MediaMonkey for Android (mma) and MediaMonkey for Windows (mmw)? If so, when you sync it'll take the most recent edits.

I have used it for years on laptop and Android. I like that is syncs Windows Media player playlists and files. In some ways it is very customizable but I find it over complicated for a music program. Syncing is terrible, whether you use the wifi or USB. Syncing can ruin hours while you read help forums. My latest failure was Win Defender firewall was reset during an update.

The UI is useable, albeit overcomplicated in a lot of ways. The app has all the features I wanted in a media player, but the sync from my PC to my android phone was essentially impossible. I sunk hours into trying to get it to work - from USB, to Wi-Fi sync, and even using an external SD card. I just couldn't make it work, and it's now the reason I'm now looking for a different service.
