Easy to use, some cool features ( like put fonts over top of an image.) I really like this messaging app. But now that I have used it a bit, if I try to send more than three photos to one person, it tells me I don't have enough room to send a photo. So I have to delete messages to be able to send them more. Don't know why. No one can tell me. If I can't find a viable fix guess I'll go back to standard android messaging not as nice but no restrictions on how many photos I send someone.
Since we purchased Pixel phones everytime I turn phone on message+ restarts like I never installed I had always used this app many yrs no prob BUT since this new phone app restarts. I have called V they say our phones are so advanced to updates faster than V can update this app.. PLS FIX ..UPDATE
Used to love it. Now it goes through a long startup process and multi page dialog every time the phone is restarted. Been doing that through last four updates. Uninstalled and reinstalled - no help. Last thing you want when you're trying to send a message is 3 minutes of start-up. Uninstalling for good now.
Update: I recently changed to a Google Pixel cell phone. Issue: On every reboot or restart of Google Pixel phone, Verizon Message+ app messaging service has to be manually restarted and always asks if user wants a public profile or not. Service should restart automatically and stop requesting additional setup. Links to contact support DO NOT work.
This would be great, but after a phone restart, you cannot go straight into the app - it's like your initial time opening the app, there is a walk through of the app's features, followed by asking what type of profile I'd like. Why can't the app remember my previous choices?
[8/17 update] Dropping another star. As mentioned before, your practice of defaulting Read Receipt send and request to on with every update is invasive!!! My response to a text is my read receipt!!! I shouldn't be forced to turn both settings off each update!!! [6/17]Dropping a star, as the below still applies. In addition, I noticed you keep defaulting the Send Read Receipt to on every update. STOP this design practice! My response to a text is my indication. Fails to follow "silence" settings on phone. With all notifications set to silent over night, texts still cause phone to vibrate.
#1 Messages & call ID app used by millions, with lots of great custom options
