just got an email from Verizon marketing this app. Offering me free streaming of 1000+ live soccer games. I have never watched soccer in my nearly 71 years and just wasted 15 minutes figuring out why anyone would think I would want it. No wonder it's a flop. Uninstalling now.
All this app does is instantly crash when I try to use it on my Android Nextbook ares. I can watch Babylon 5 on YouTube with no problems, but not here. Uninstalling, why in the world would I keep an app that doesn't work? I don't have this problem with ANY other streaming app, so why here? Please fix.
This would be better if I could use a variant of this app on Xbox One gaming console, on Samsung smart TV, and on Roku. For those devices I have to login the browser site for now. Oh but it works great on my phone.
Only reason I got this was for Babylon 5 and I was surprised at the quality of the app. A few things I would like to see in an update are Closed Captions for Chromecast and volume controls while casting should default to Chromecast volume control. There is some problem with the volume on the Chromecast. It is very quite and I have to turn up the volume really loud to hear it. Much louder than any other Chromecast capable app. I would be very happy with the app if these were addressed with an update.
This app worked excellent for me but I would have to say they need more variety. I got lucky because I love soccer so this app is compatible for me but for other sports lovers, not so lucky. Also add more popular shows!
I know this is a free app and you get what you pay for but I can't tell you how many times it crashes when I watch NWSL games. Then when I can finally pull it up again I'm not able to return to the point in the game where it crashed. Cue to me trying to fast forward using the circular arrow (which inexplicably returns me to the very beginning of the match). I only want to fast forward 10 seconds, not rewind 44 minutes! Also, I have to add that whoever is doing the camera work at the Boston games needs to 1) Not face the camera at the sun. How about moving to the other side of the field so we don't have to squint? and 2) Zoom in when necessary when play is down near the goal. This is when it gets exciting and if we can't see it, it's not exciting! Thank goodness for Lifetime where they know what they're doing, so I can at least get one solid game in, in the proper amount of time.
