Ratings and reviews

Setup was easy, video quality is good, but my only complaints are that the detection algorithm needs work. It will detect moving bushes, shadows and rain as humans. I've tried adjusting the threshold and blocking out the bushes, it has helped, but still too many false alerts. Also, when it actually detects a human, it will flood you with alerts if the person is in view for a while. Would be nice to have an adjustable pause between alerts. Fix these, and it's a 5 star app IMO.

I was surprised to see the negative reviews. I've had other security cameras before, so I'm familiar with them. These cameras have a great picture. They catch stuff outside the sliding glass door, which I like. They notify promptly and dependably, and they capture the source of the motion from the beginning of the instance without a delay, unlike other cameras. The video records from a couple of seconds before the intrusion begins. Which is best of all. I'm buying more of these for a 2nd home.

I regret purchasing these cameras. The quality of the pictures are fine but good luck getting any of the videos to actually play so they can be reviewed - 20 minutes can be easily spent trying to watch a person take two steps. Videos take forever to load, and not a single video plays smoothly or completely through the entire clip. The app is definitely not designed for ease of use. You have to click on the icons just to try and determine what they are. The operations are totally useless.
