No idea what fuel cost is based on, but could be better if could edit fuel price We run on lpg. On the pc version of via Michelin the default cost of fuel is way higher than in real life...so high you have to change it, but on mobile app I have no idea at all of the price per litre viaMichelin is using to make its calculations for a journey, yet there seems no way of viewing the price per litre the app uses or editing it.
OK for free see some brain dead people complaining that it's not offline, GPS etc. that's why it's called ROUTE PLANNER! DOH!. use the available GPS travel app instead. it would be nice to have all the Michelin apps in one, but I guess it would be too big. I like the fact you can select motorcycle routes and just briefly checking on routes I know it seems OK keeping off motorways and out of towns etc.
Not User Friendly Perhaps I am unfamiliar with the app but having used other applications I found this 1 very much below others in areas of easy of using, ability to understand directions, being able to see the highways because of arrows over the highway numbers, needing to restart it everytime a resume to a trip, not being able to use it to help guide me and making stops or are getting distances between places, excetra. It might be something useful on a laptop planning your trip and writing the information down but it was
No gps, no offline meaning only in house draft planning...it is no use for me as intenssive car driver..outside, far from any reliable or cheap net coverage! The only one useful navigation app should be always offline map and gps based only!!! Net should be used only for TMC/real time alerts for jams etc when I am in home desktop connected by fixed Internet, I use excellent Via Michelin route web app . However when gone outside, driving hundreds kilometers or even along isolate areas for best natural panoramas in The Alps etc, I expect as any smarter driver...offline standalone the only reliable and fluent navigation maps like only IGO by NNG or even free Osmand know how and what to provide until today at affordable price and skin behave, plenty of amazing features if redesigned by tallented skinners...
Pretty darn useless Multiple attempts at routing fail. Can't get anymore than 8 route legs between towns in Portugal, not even 800 miles. And where do I save various routes? I hate having to reconstruct the prospective route each time I modify things. Is that the best Michelin can do?Tried another time and it's still useless junk. No more than 8 point-to-points and they don't even tell you that before downloading. Idiots. I think I'll go buy some cheap Korean tires instead of being trapped into Michelin's nonsense.
Main highway in South Europe E-75 not properly connected Check the E-75 highway between Serbia and FYR Macedonia. Choose route to Thessaloniki, Greece. Road is on the map, but instead shortest highway route which passes near city of Preshevo and continues south towards Macedonia, program is detouring to some local roads, adding unnecessary distance and time. In reallity, this "missing" part exists for decades, and from past few years it has a full highway profile in both countries.
