Application assessment I enjoy using a scientific calculator for every day use. This particular simulator seems to be very useful and is easy to use. I have not used any of the functions other than a simple calculation and so I cannot comment on how well the other programmable features work.
Insurance Salesman. I have used the original HP 12c since 1986, and I have found this version to be as close to the original as any can possibly be. I use my 12C to calculate the future value of money, at various rates of interest, and also for different periods of years, to project income durations into the future. Any negative reviews most obviously do not understand advanced financial mathematics. Get the book, "Time Value of Money". You will learn much.
It's a great application. I used the 12C when it had real buttons. Other than the phony "click". I can't tell the difference.
Demo only Having a demo of a financial calculator without the financial functions doesn't really help. This would have worked as a demo if instead there was a use/time limit or a dollar amount limit. At least the graphics look good.
Nasty little scam app Nothing like threatening wrong answers from a calculator app unless you buy the pro version, to win customer affection. And the graphics look like a pac man screen from 1982. Waste of RAM.
I have an HP 12c calculator on my desk which I use all the time. To have this app on my phone is so incredibly handy. I love it for simple addition subtraction percentages and basic business math, there is nothing better. I love it
minor bug fix.
