PORTAL ADDRESS??? Please, I need assistance to the whole thing. After installation, I moved on to open it, license agreement popped up which I accepted, then the next step is what freaks me out; "portal address"? Please assist me out and after that, we shall see if you deserve a 5 star. Thanks
Overall, this app works well, especially on past generation Android devices. I am noticing a serious degradation in frame rate on current Galaxy S7 and Galaxy Note 7 devices; maximum transmitting frame rate seems limited to 7-8 fps. Receiving frame rate is not affected. Older Samsung devices, S5; Note 4, etc., seem to be able to transmit higher fps. I will update this review when the issue is addressed.
Looks like a undergraduate project Very basic app, noisy. No options to hide all participants to concentrate on classroom, lots of disturbance if participants are joining/dropping, there are no settings to join without video/audio. I feel it is an undergraduate students project.
The videoconferencing itself works fine. But the UI is pretty bad (both design and responsiveness), some features from the desktop version are missing (desktop sharing is understandable, but why is there no chat?) and having to enter login information on every reconnect gets irritating very quickly.
“Please enter a valid VidyoPortal address” When I try to sign in on our company’s vidyoone server I always get this error. Several months ago (before changing my phone) it used to work. (Android 5.1.1 LG-K10).
Not possible to run it screen off! In general works well but Whenever I turn the screen of to just listen to a meeting, app loses connection. Very annoying.
This release includes a fix for an issue where in certain scenarios users who are using SAML authentication were not able to log in.
