About this app

The World2one Android app is the place where you invite your favorite local or national merchants who participate in the World2one ecosystem to communicate with you regularly to make their best offers to you for their products and services—and you remain totally anonymous (you’ll stay anonymous even to World2one as no email address, phone number, address, etc. is required to get started).

Once you’ve started, your “My World” becomes the place where you collect your favorite local merchants and always stay informed of their latest information and offers. You can add new participating local merchants into your My World whenever you encounter them around the web with a click of their Add to My World button; by scanning the merchant’s World2one enabled QR code in a print advertisement, or even while visiting the merchant’s actual physical location.

You can also discover new merchants in your area by selecting the “Nearby” feature and selecting the category of merchant you wish to learn about: Food and Drink; Retail and Services; Health and Beauty; Activities; and Travel. These “discovered” merchants can then be added to your My World collection with one click so that you regularly see all the information and offers for these merchants in your My World.

Local merchants are encouraged to vie for your business by creating special offers and discounts that might state a particular day and hour that the discount can be used or the number of customers that can use the offer. Customers are able to use the offers only when they are physically at the merchant’s location, at which time the customer can show the offer to the merchant and receive the discount. For the customer, using the World2one Android app and using a merchant’s offer is TOTALLY FREE—no payment up front, simply pay the merchant for the discounted item you purchased.
