Sets up fine, easy to find connections! However if you manage to get connected don't expect much! Usually says its connected but usually isnt! (very rarely you actually get ultra slow free on the go wifi) Usually if browsing you just get a page saying no connection tap to retry!
Every few days it loses the ability to connect to any networks ('incorrect password') and needs to be set up again. It's incredibly irritating. Also constantly tries to connect to low quality WiFi resulting in non-working internet at critical moments. Nice idea but evidently no user testing was done and not really usable in the real world.
Junk, like pretty much everything the Virgin media development team produce. Cannot even set up auto connect. I'm leaving Virgin media. They constantly lie to their customers. Switching to BT. Even though their network is slower it is more reliable and they don't have serious security issues. After being a virgin media customer for years I have had enough. Virgin media is dead to me.
Just get errors when trying to set up. Waste of time. Edit: I have used the in-app messaging feature to contact customer support who don't seem to have a clue and are not very helpful as they keep telling me to do the same thing over and over again. I've removed every single SSID profile from my phone, reinstalled the app, deleted its cache and data numerous times, and also erased the system cache on my phone, and I'm STILL getting the same errors. Typical Virgin Media: great when it works, but don't expect any support when it goes wrong.
Seems like a great idea and connects to lots of different WiFi signals to save your mobile data. Problem is once connected you can't actually do anything on the internet as it doesn't work!
Great for the 10 minutes a day it works. Just spends the rest of the day disconnecting and reconnecting and running your battery flat. Can't even accuse it of being due to other hubs being out of range as my neighbors in both the flat next door and below have virgin internet and the app seems to think my whole street should be covered... Hopeless
