The Virgin TV Control app means you can control your TiVo or Virgin TV V6 box from anywhere in the world, wherever you have an internet connection with WiFi, 3G or 4G.
The Best Bits

As a Virgin TV customer, this app lets you:

• Manage your recordings – set up a Series Link+ from anywhere in the world when
you’re connected to the internet
• Control your TV – if your TiVo box is connected to the same home network as your
device you can turn your mobile or tablet into a handy remote control
• Speed up the way you search and browse – search using your device’s QWERTY
keypad instead of the remote
• If you have a Virgin TV V6 box powered by TiVo you can stream selected recordings to
your device
• The app connects directly to your TiVo or Virgin TV V6 box so that you can see if there
is a recording clash or storage space is low
What you need
• Be a Virgin TiVo or V6 customer - note that Virgin TV 360 customers can use Virgin TV Go to manage recordings
• An Android mobile or tablet running Android OS 7.1 & above with WiFi internet in the
• Your My Virgin Media username and password

For security reasons, and to protect the rights of our content partners, the Virgin TV Control app cannot be used on jailbroken devices, where unauthorised modifications have been made to the operating system.

Keeps buffering every 20 seconds. When using it on a Samsung 12.5 A7 tablet. There's nothing wrong with my data transfer rate is 26mbps. On my Sony phone it doesn't buffer. I can run Netflix. Looking at all the reviews. I keep thinking that Virgin doesn't want anyone to use this app. Its disgraceful that Virgin can't appologise for their arrogant behaviour. I find by using the app I save a lot of power. Its a useful green way of watching your programs. Virgin.. listen and fix all these issues.

This is the only thing I have to watch stuff on my TV as my box won't except my remote control all of a sudden and now this app isn't allowing me to log in. So now i have no way of changing the channel on my tv. Starting to get pretty annoyed with virgin. I didn't wanna put any stars but to be able to leave a comment I had to

Awful app, the purpose is to have control of the box when you aren't there. I have tried to put programmes in record on a few occasions......without success. Resulting in me missing out on what I wanted to watch....
