I really want to like this platform, but there is an issue with this app and newer phones that use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) which REQUIRE location services to be turned on. Without the Bluetooth connectivity the phone can't connect to the power meter. From what I can tell in looking at the TCX files, the StagesFlight app tries to log distance based on GPS if location services are enabled for the app, and not the distance coming from the power meter on the bike, which doesn't make any sense to me when an activity is setup to be "Indoor Cycling". This is also why the integration with Strava is broken as well, since it also depends on the TCX file.

Terrible. Sitting on a bike or holding phone right next to a power meter I cannot get the app to recognize the power meter. Other bikes in a spinning class will show up, but not the one I'm on and actually riding. It's not user friendly and doesn't look particularly slick but doesn't really matter bc you can't even get to that point.

Does not properly sync with Stava. I have a Stages SC3 stationary bike with Stages Power Meter and Stages Consule. Running Android 11. Had the same issues running Android 9 on another phone and the wife's Android 10 phone. Sometimes the app syncs accurate data measurements with Stages, and rarely it syncs it with Strava. I know it's the application that's buggy because I always get accurate data with other apps, on the phone or on a laptop. It's only the Stages Flight app that screws up.
