Ratings and reviews

The app isn't bad but it isn't the best either. Some transcriptions and examples are wrong or they present a word, not given an accent it should be read it. Few stuff are not explained at all. For example, there's an explanation of how to write a stress mark in the transcription but no explanation what secondary and primary stress is. If you're familiar with phonetics and want to memorise material better or you want to learn it for fun, that's an app for you but otherwise I wouldn't recommend it

Very simple, easy to use app, which is perfect for its purpose. Finally have a simple place I can select different symbols and hear the audio for them, as well as information on them and examples. Additionally, there are mini quizzes available for each symbol, which are helpful. Very nice app.

Thank you so much! I need to learn IPA for my studies but I couldn't find any good resources that gave me the symbol, examples, explanations and audio files to help me actually learn it. This is perfect and so easy to use and understand.
