App installation issue It's mandatory to pause Lux Auto Brightness whenever I am installing apps from sources other than Play Store or else the 'Install' option freezes and hence, it's a ★ ★ ★ from me until this issue is fixed. However, I must agree that I adore the option that allows me to set the minimum screen brightness and I also appreciate the option to reduce the screen brightness manually beyond default android zero level and even up to -100% which makes reading in a dark room really easy on the eyes.
Best app to use when dealing with brightness! It gets so low that the screen looks almost off which is perfect for night time reading. Bright enough for out door use.👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇. IMPORTANT This is for anyone trying to install 3rd party apps. Once you click install nothing happens.. Go into SETTINGS THEN APPD push the COGWHEEL. Next click DRAW OVER OTHER APPS. Then click LUX and take back the PERMISSION... Once you are done installing. Reenable Lux.Great app guys the 6p just doesn't get dim enough. We all appreciate it.
(For non amoled screen)Its not dimming the brightness lower than the original setting can do. It just make the screen appears more black hence looks dimmer... but the backlight still the same. Still its better then any other similar app, at least this one works
Fixed Nexus 6 high brightness My Nexus 6 brightness at its lowest setting was too bright, this app allowed me to reduce brightness into the negative space and now at night it's not blinding. My only gripe is I wish that the notification bar was a notification icon for Android 7, tap that to open the app and adjust from there to keep my task bar clean.
Perfect Thanks, my Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 brightness adjustment doesn't work and I curse it a night. I just installed this and it did the trick. I'll post back if anything goes wrong. So far very nice, should have installed this long ago. March 7 2016. Update; It's 3am and I'm really appreciating this new app
The app was working perfectly, but ever since the Oreo update (8.0.0), the night mode and reduced brightness applies to my apps and normal screen but doesn't work for the lock screen and the notification panel. Every time I pull my notification panel it is on the default lowest brightness setting with no night mode. So very strenuous on the eyes when it's dark Edit: I just learned that Oreo has disabled app overlay for system ui, so now I've to live with my eyes frying like eggs when I use the phone in the dark and pull down the notification panel...
