Best app for stargazers. I love this app. There's a free version or the subscription for less than $1 a month. Shows real-time meteors and a calendar showing the best time to see a meteor shower and even an option to set alarms for any events you don't want to miss. Point and aim will identify whatever you are viewing. Highly recommend.

used the free app for a couple weeks before upgrading to the pay once for life version (great to have that option over a subscription) works great and is perfect for astronomy beginners. only thing it's missing is live satellite tracking. I bought the full version of this one over StarWalk2 (which has live satellites) because of the detailed calendars, but I would have paid extra just to have everything all in one app

I used to love this app. Now with the update, I can't not point up and get the GPS to aim straight up. I have no issues with Stellarium. Aiming straight up just puts the guide lines circle over to the North at about 45 degrees. Really disappointing. worked perfect before the update. Can't track anything because the phone won't show where I'm pointing. S25 Ultra. Worst part is, I paid for the full version and it just won't calculate.

What’s new

We’re getting ready for the big sky shows around August 12: the solar eclipse, the Perseids, and a beautiful planet alignment. Track them all with Sky Tonight!

We’ve also made a few fixes and improvements. Update the app and keep looking up!
