Client now functions as before (I had issues connecting after the update, which is now confirmed resolved), and I love it once again. Will update further once I have more time to test out the newest update. I need to give credit to VMware Horizon Client app staff who reached out to my previous review, and tried to assist. Although the issue resolved itself the next morning, I appreciate that VMware, Inc has such a dedicated team.
Exception thrown Everything worked fine until I updated, and now for several weeks I cannot log in. Instead an error message displays that an exception has been thrown. It appears the party line is that RSA authentication and Android Nougat are incompatible, however I have been running Nougat for months with no issues. It is the VMWare update that broke this process! I rely on this software and am now stuck carrying my laptop until the dev fixes the problem they broke. Will update review if the software starts working.
