Use it offline for free
If you don’t have access to an internet connection (Wi-fi or data), you can still transact with no extra costs. M-Pesa App works offline, for free! You only have to give SMS permissions

It’s secure
You can use FINGERPRINT or FACIAL ID to log in, or authorise your transactions through M-Pesa app. The M-Pesa 4 digit PIN can as well be used!
This is the only official and authorised App for accessing your M-Pesa account in Tanzania (GSMA Mobile Money certified). Vodacom Tanzania cautions customers against downloading or attempting to use of any other App that purports to offer easy access to M-Pesa.

Ratings and reviews

Thus is a good app... until it doesn't work. You then discover customer service (if you're abroad) is non-existent. Generation of an account statement consistently malfunctions and it is not possible to download the pdf (button greyed out). Try calling the customer service number. No response. Email - no response, not even an automatic one. Yes, a decent app until you have a problem. You've been warned.

This app is so good, it has made transactions to be easy, one thing to Fix, On Mkoba mini app it delays to update informations of members who contribute, also it fails to generate report , when you click on generating the reports it only shows you that the report has been sent to your email while nothing has been sent. May you improve on those please.

It stopped working properly. Even after entering the correct information, it keeps showing an error message saying the number is incorrect. I have already tried several solutions, including uninstalling and reinstalling the app. It 😞😞
