VoltShare is a community powered EV chargepoint sharing network, combining our proprietary domestic* and commercial chargepoints around the U.K. Join us to access our community of EV chargepoints in small business locations, public areas, and homes around your neighbourhood. You can rest assured knowing that charging your car will not only be more affordable and convenient, but you will also be supporting local communities.

Use a VoltShare Chargepoint in 4 simple steps:
1. Connect your electric car to the chargepoint.
2. Scan the QR code to initiate charging.
3. Your live session data will be visible on the app.
4. Once you disconnect your car, the payment will be automatically processed.

Key Features:
1. Search and Reserve: Find available chargepoints near you and reserve with a 1-hour time slot to ensure it is yours.

2. Route Navigation: Easily navigate from your current location to your reserved chargepoint.

3. Safe and Secure Charging: Charging can only be initiated by scanning the QR code on the chargepoint with our backend cloud system ensuring you are using the right one.

4. Live Charging Session Data: With a direct connection to the chargepoint, you will have access to live data from your charging session including electricity usage, ongoing parking cost, ongoing charging cost, and ongoing total costs.

5. More affordable, PAYG service: No more overpaying for what you don’t use. Our app and network service calculates exactly how much you have used and ensures you only pay for what you use. This is all done behind the scenes and ensures an affordable charging service for everyone.

Could do a lot better on first run experience. Account creation is not easy, should support Google Pay as typing in card number whilst plugging in car possibly in rain instead of going into venue is just wasting time. It should be click click click. For example rejected passwords copied in, had to type them in. Once payment method added got a fail error and then it started charging! Finally, get onto a network such as Zapmap or Electroverse as no idea I could charge at destination until arrived

Assumes you have internet connection. In Coniton Cumbria I didnt have any connection thus no charge. Takes over 10 minutes for MFA codes to arrive making it painful to event try and connect or log in. As normal yet another company making chargings EV overly complex and frustrating. They are more interested in collecting your data than providing a service
