Volvo, you should be ashamed. As easy as an app can get, you still messed up. 'an unknown server error occurred' is not an error message you'd expect on something as simple as this. Couldn't even download a manual, even after manually enabling storage permission (which the app doesn't even ask for when you start it). I have a feeling your coders are just terrible in general. As proven by the poor optimization and performance of your Sensus systems. It's time to seriously start thinking about stepping it up a few notches.
Once I had added the storage permission I was at least able to download and browse pdf manuals. I that way it is less flexible than a browser pdf reader combo that I jab anyway.
You still didn't fix this and now it's even worse than before. First, when launching the app I am welcomed with "An unknown server error occurred" each time. Once you hit ok on the error it brings me to the vehicle selector screen which doesn't allow you to select the model year for any vehicle except the XC60 and S60 Inscription (I guess those of us with one of your other vehicles are out of luck since I can't get past this screen without selecting a model year). Is this a luxury vehicle company? It seems very concerning they haven't been able to hire a competent developer. This app has never worked without errors since I bought my XC90 on May 2017. Almost like they don't care to have good customer experiences.

Worked great until latest update. Now cannot download manual. Doesn't give you a year selection. Please fix.

The XC60 Guide for model year 2018 and onward is now available. This Guide enables you to interactively explore and discover the vehicle's functions. The Guide will be supplemented in the future for additional selected models.
