Unreliable App keeps crashing and so far I have not made it work over 4g. When it does work (over Wi-Fi) the zooming is clunky. If it was more usable it would be a really useful as it is I only use it at home or where there is WI-FI. Before anyone says it's free we pay for it in our council tax.
Fairly reliable but clunky. The reliability is a big plus. The map is very slow to zoom and pan even on a modern device; because of this, use of the "Favourites" is a must. The menu system is a bit dated but it is simple and it works.
Improving response times Useful - and as you add favourite bus routes and stops it becomes quicker
How can they make such a bad app As the official app of the Oxontime service this is a poor effort. The mapping is laggy, and does not even zoom into your location. Half the time when you do get to a stop, the page returns that there are no (not that there was an error our no communication, the same message as if there were no buses due). The unofficial Oxford buses app does the same thing, and accesses the same data, and just works...
Bad This app used to be incredible, but only on wifi, didn't work on mobile Internet, which almost defeated the point in having it, developer's never got back to me either, now even on wifi it says no buses due yet there are buses going past the stop even now, pathetic, completely pathetic.
Terrible App I feel lucky if I manage to have this app open for 5 seconds with out it crashing. On the rare occasion that it does work the clunky unresponsive functions are so infuriating that I wish it had crashed.
Update bus stops with locality and map performance improvements
