About this app

The Dutch School of Popular Music is an education and knowledge center for pop music for all ages with a focus on creating new music. In our lesson programs you learn to play instruments and write and produce music. You delve deep into the world of playing live, rehearsing and recording and everything it takes to make progress with your project or band. Many of our students combine the possibilities of instruments and modern applications of the laptop. Three times a year there are concerts on a serious music venue with professional lighting, sound and accompaniment. The presentations and lessons are the basis for constructive feedback via the AMACK system that supports the student in their development. In addition to the various bands, we offer individual and group lessons in instruments, production, theory and songwriting.
The app gives you insight into the lesson options, the schedule and links to the feedback you receive with your musical results and live performances.
With this app you are always up to date with the latest news and details about the curriculum. You can also register for lessons, extra courses and activities.

We know how to attract young people and create new music with young people from the age of 7. Many of our students are considering a career in music or related disciplines. We include orientation on these matters in the approach and the associated feedback.
