Some flaws I love this app and it's minimalistic style. However, some features are difficult to locate. Despite the most recent update, there is still no find my friends feature
Terrible UI I didn't think they could make the UI experience worse but they exceeded my expectations. I want something that focuses on editing MY pictures instead you get that collections stuff shoved in your face. So far I've not figured out a way to unfollow VSCO and stop having all these suggestions forced into my stream.
Great app, unintuitive UI. While I love the filters and and the ability to sync my filter purchases across devices, the UI is baffling. The icons aren't easy to figure out and the various gestures are very unintuitive.
As an Android user (Galaxy Note 5), I have found both the built-in camera software and Instagram camera and filters to create a lot of noise - photos just turn out ugly. Other apps were better, but not as beautiful as the results of VSCO. The tools are easy and intuitive, and the filters are fresh and current. Just getting started with Grid, but it's a nice artistic alternative to Instagram.
UI SUCKS! VSCO is a good photography application anyway. I have been using it for along time until now. But I must admit that I kinda dislike it now for this update. You guys just remove the square grid for the photos are imported to VSCO. It's so annoying to see the grid desultorily. You also must remove the concept of that middle button. Why don't you just bring more Material Design? Because this is Android! For matching the Android UI, you have to make it happen. Urggghhh! Hate it so much! Arghhh. Come guys! :(
This version includes the following updates:
- Add the new camera widget to your home screen to open directly to the VSCO camera
- Find My Friends feature enables you to find and follow friends from your address book
- Status of upload to VSCO profile now displayed in profile card
- Various bug fixes
