I didn't think they could make the UI experience worse but they exceeded my expectations. I want something that focuses on editing MY pictures. Instead, you get that collections stuff shoved in your face. So far I've not figured out a way to unfollow VSCO and stop having all their suggestions forced into my stream.
The UI has gone from bad to worse - I was still getting used to the previous layout, when to my surprise, this latest overhaul come along. I'm a fan of minimalistic designs, but it just feels a lot more difficult to navigate the app.
It now looks cleaner and better and easier to navigate. However the always-on camera is just draining battery a lot. Why is it so important for the company to look too edgy but sacrifice the user-friendliness? I don't get it.
But the most recent update has left me wondering if there is something better out there. It seems VSCO has decided investing any time into UI/UX development isn't worth their time. Their "innovative" new navigation method is horrendously annoying to use and shows they are more interested in gaining user data from their new social media presence than they are in creating a beautifully powerful photo editing process. VSCO, please get your game together, editing photos in your app used to be fun:/
Well I've been heard and all my problems with this app have been fixed with the last update. I am surprised by the support team work and satisfied with the result. Now the app works much faster. Thanks!
The UX here is horrible! Just give it to UX designer not graphic designer! I stop using it because that reason. I appreciate all stuff that the app does but not with this last update.
