This is an interesting Vietnamese traditional game named 3LineUp.
Each player will have 9 pieces in hand. Players will take turn to put his/her own pieces into the board (if there’re still available pieces in your basket).
If a player has finished putting all the pieces, if it is his/her turn to move, player selects one of the piece and move to one of the adjacent points, if the point is free.
The player should try to make his/her three pieces to line up. In this case, player can capture one of the other player’s pieces. First player manages to get 7 out of 9 pieces, of the other player, wins.
It's interesting to find out also that this is very similar (only similar) to the "Nine Men's Morris" from Roman Empire.
It's also interesting to find out that this game increases the kids ability to do Math.
