Verizon's Best Droid 2 My first phone was Droid 1, so naturally I chose Droid 2 for my second. The reason I chose Droid 1&2 was because of my research into all carriers. Only Verizon's database was satisfactory, I have always believed that you get what you pay for and I refuse to buy cheap. Your company stand's alone in product design, quality, availability, service, customer support, future product research and development, professionally trained executive, sales, and service personnel. In my opinion Verizon has no equal!!..
Shopping The shopping track via the app will sometimes force you into the mobile site and not carry over the shopping cart. Also, within the app it'd be nice if you could change the accessory quantities when ordering with a phone. I had to hit an adapter 3 times, which isn't a big deal, but maybe this was just missed.
Seems suspicious Too many auto choices while navigating the app. What happened to the more versatile data widgets? Why do i have to go through 7 (slow to load) screens to see my data as it stands? I dont see why youd remove them but this makes you have to pay for the Safety Mode which adds more monthly costs to the consumer. ive has this phone carrier for more than a decade and am nearing the end of my tolerance of these nickel and dime tactics.
New update SUCKS The new update completely sucks. Couldn't find what I wanted and then when trying to pay my bill, couldn't change my payment method. I have 3 bank accounts. I'm not on autopay. I should be able to switch accounts easily. That is of course, if you want your damn money. Plan is up 12/24. I'm switching to Sprint.
Overall Satsfied Really enjoy the efficiency and easy use of the app. The only thing that dropped it to 4 stars are the constant ads. Some you can swipe left and get rid of, others you can't. We just bought two phones and being constantly advertised the buy one get one half off or free is kind of obnoxious. We will not be shopping for new phones for a couple years so I'd prefer to not see information I don't need. Overall though, very convenient and easy to navigate.
Good but a little deceptive App is good. Only issue is that when I was paying a bill, I put in how much I wanted to pay, entered my payment info and clicked next. On the review screen it had my card info but in stead of having what I wanted to pay, it had the entire balance as my payment info. If I wasn't paying attention, and clicked to send payment, I would have payed the entire bill for everyone on the plan. Moral of the story everyone, PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU ARE PAYING
