Dealbreaker bug on my device..I tried this out on an in store tablet to help me decide whether to buy a Bamboo Stylus. Using an in store stylus I was impressed by the stylus performance and the app. I bought the stylus (Bamboo Solo) However once I installed this to my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.7) I found major bug. I can draw on a page but every time I lift the stylus (or my finger) off the page the screen goes black. Then the page only becomes white when I draw on it. Basically it makes the app impossible to use. Its a great app - I just can't use it right now because of this bug..
Five stars and more! The fastest inking engine on android....that was my first priority bcuz I write very fast...and this is the only one to do it...the ink just flows from the pen tip...is easily readable later..just try writing five 3's in a line, real fast, with this app and then with others! Look at the 'heads' of the 3's! Until this app came along,I thought ink lag was an android/hardware limitation. Needed a simple notebook to jot down everything and anything on the go and this is so so perfect! Thank you Wacom
No undo/redo once you leave a page for any reason Disliked it? No, but was disappointed. Wacom promotes their "WILL" file format for its richness and utility. So I spent $5+ for the Bamboo Paper pro package and I only later discovered that the detailed stylus stroke info I am confident is stored when I leave a page can't be reviewed and revised later. Bummer. I don't consider this a waste of my money, but be assured I will examine any other Wacom product software /most/ carefully before giving them another nickel.
I've been using this app since it was first released in 2011. On the general whole, this is a great notetaking app but it does have some limitations, first and foremost being the lack of custom ink colors and odd, mostly useless pen options. This is a great app for quick note taking, especially in a classroom setting, as it's inking is swift and accurate. Because this is what I primarily use it for, and because it works well in this category, I have no problem giving it four stars. However, before downloading you should know that there is no way of rearranging the order your notebooks are in, and the pen/color options are nice, but extremity limited. I would also warn against buying the expansion packs, as they are mostly useless even if they are pretty to look at.
OK but buggy Cannot open .will files from Android on iPad pro. Plus the wacom cloud sync does not work properly. Can't even create an account and sign in. For a company like wacom seams to be ridiculous to have developers messing up so much.
Cross platform sharing is why I keep it Writing and drawing has no smoothing. Other than erase and undo, very limited edit ability. Could benefit from a select/cut/paste option. I was about to purchase pro pack, but read reviews that they can only be used online. It's a good start, with lots of potential.
