About this app

Problems of traditional learning methods
Many proficient Chinese speakers have often learned the language in a country where it is spoken. Our left brain is responsible for language processing, while our right brain processes images. Typically, when we see an image, our right brain reacts first. Traditional learning methods can create faulty language structures because they rely solely on the left brain for memorization through language alone

Key features of Lockscreen Chinese Dictionary
The Lockscreen Chinese Dictionary engages both the left and right brain to learn Chinese vocabulary. This allows you to recall both 'car' and '汽车' simultaneously when you see a picture of a car. This learning method provides a similar effect to learning the language in a country where it is spoken

The lock screen gets replaced with words to help you review everytime you unlock your phone. I suggest you go to the settings and click on the option to change the words everytime you unlock the phone to practice different vocabulary. You'd be surprised at how much you can retain just by reading for a few seconds before using your phone as normal. Very handy feature. I love that I can also customize the colors — the pink theme met my expectations, it's so pretty! Thank you 💖
