Countdown to your special event using Countdown in Status Bar. The coundown is shown in number of days and is always visible even when your phone is locked unlike widgets and can run up to 5 simultaneous coundowns in your status bar.

Countdown In Status bar you can enter the date and title of an event to count down to.

Limitations:
- In Android 3.0 or above, and Android 4.0 or above, the Android OS has "automatic shrinking and dimming" for status bar notifications to focus on the main activity. The icons do remain at their full size and at full intensity in the notification area when selected,

***UPDATE: Changing 5 star rating to 1 star... App stopped working, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it. It kind of works now, but now all the colors are gone. PLEASE FIX!! I contacted the developer and will update if its fixed.

Please adjust the readout. Remove "days" so the number is bigger and easier to read. Including "days" is unnecessary. We know the time left is days. It is so tiny both in the status bar and the pull down readout. Very difficult to read. Take a look at Countdown for Events. Much better readout.
